Course Description

Introduction to C++: Learn how to programm in C++, learn object-oriented programming priciples and understand which libraries to use for which type of application. At the end of the course you should be able to create simple C++ applications and we will create a simple desktop application during the course.

Course Details

This course is designed for those who wish to start programming with one of the most popular programming languages.

C++ for beginners covers the following topics:

  • Why C++: Understand the advantages and disadvantages of C++
  • Start programming in C++: Understanding variables, control structures and methods
  • Object-oriented programming: Understanding Classes and Objects
  • More object-oriented techniques: Interfaces, method overloading, polymorphism
  • Server, desktop or mobile phone: Which C++ libraries do you need for your applications and how to manage memory most effectively
  • How to use C++ libraries: Create a simple desktop application that reads and writes files
